   About-France.com bills itself as "more than just a tourist guide to France..." - which is certainly true. ...  There's a vast amount of useful practical information - for example on tipping, leading free tourist attractions, and the latest on speed cameras and breathalyser laws. The regional summaries, which include rundowns of their main tourist attractions, are also helpful......

     And the winner is...I'm going to go with About-France.com, for being both inspirational and practical

I was having a browse of some websites I have saved over the years.
I frequently return to this one, as it is full of useful links about just about everything you need to see and do in France. I probably picked it up on this forum - but it is well worth an airing. 

British and teaching at university level I am really impressed with this site. Not totally politically correct which is nice.  I shall be spreading the word. You deserve success. Regards
